Lil Durk found himself in a bit of hot water after remixing Logic’s “1-800-273-8255” single. Critics took issue with Durkio hopping on the backdrop of a suicide prevention anthem and laying down lyrics like, “It’s gon’ be a homicide It’s gon’ be a homicide. Directed by Jerry Production, the video opens up with a brief tribute to rapper Fredo Santana, who passed away recently after suffering a fatal seizure, and adds onto the story Durk says he was trying to craft as he faces the realities of the trenches.
